RAIDING RULES
Please read the rules carefully, we hope that you get the intent of the rule not simply the written word. Any issues that occur let the modulators handle after the battle is over, not during. All battles are IC and no OOC should occur again until the battle is over and only between mods.

Identify Mod per side before the battle starts and get a confirmed count of defenders from an admin or raid mod.

WHO CAN RAID

Only BTB groups and wear a BTB groups tag
-
No slaves or Free Women may accompany raiders.
-
No GE fighters or raids allowed
-
No female fighters
-
No tarns
-
Single Kur may attack only when 2 active men are on sim

WHEN YOU CAN RAID
-
No more than 2 raids a week by a single group or village/city. Rescues do not count toward this number.
​
​
RESCUE/TRADE TIME
-
1 hour from sail time from this sim. A trade point is located at raid dock.

RAID RATIO AND RAID PARTY
-
Raid Entry: Safe for 15 min
-
Raid Ratio: 1:1+2. Armed Free men of Skjern who are not AFK or OOC when the raid arrives at the landing point are counted toward the defender ratio.

A raid is classified as & consists of 3 or more people/kur attacking the sim with a minimum of 3 men defending.
-
If a raid is comprised of more than one group, then captives can only be taken to ONE sim, the sim leading the raid. Of course if the captor and the cap wish to go to another sim that is fine, but there will be no rescue mounted.

QUICK RAID RULES

All emotes are 10 words each line

NO SELF-MODDING

Binding - 3 emotes of 10 words each

Aiding - No Aiding Allowed

Unbinding of others - 2 emotes of 10 words each

Self Unbinding - 2 emotes of 10 words each after 10 minutes, if leashed no self unbinding.

Lock-picking - 1 emote of 10 words

Stealing keys from MEN only after being bound and dragged to the door - 1 emote of 10 words

Bandaging - no emotes
-
Dragging captives - Men can pull one captive and two with feet unbound, free women can drag one captive with feet unbound, no running with captives.

Sailing: 1 emote of 10 words naming the captive and the destination. (You should name the captive name you are sailing in the emote)

People in houses are safe and not part of the raid.

No canoes or small boats up the Fjord
-
All weapons being used must be sheathed
-
No jumping or climbing Rock areas
-
No killing during a raid
-
If your sim has a safe room for women that is 100% inaccessible by raiders, you may NOT take women at any time during an attack.

KUR RULES
-
Kur raids allowed but must enter though the raid dock.
-
Must use beast meter
-
Must have at least 2 men active to be able to attack

If one Kur attacks alone it is NOT considered a raid and those active and ICLY hear and see the fighting are allowed to join in the fight.

No enhanced axes exceeding 40% damage and 2Xs legal ZCS speed.
-
No enhanced range weapons. Damage and speed are to conform to ZCS. Blowguns and Dart throwers.
-
No enhanced running speed
-
Claws must conform to ZCS sword damage and speed specs.
-
Rope binds still require adherence to sim rules for binding/self unbinding.
-
Chains can not be broke only lock picked with correct rp to the sim rules.
-
Do not engage a Kur in role-play if you are not willing to accept the consequences.
-
As per our region wide rules, we do not allow ‘shoot on site’ of anyone, including Kur, unless there is a valid IC reason. Kurii are an intelligent alien species, role-play before attacking.

FREE WOMEN/SLAVES
-
No ranged weapons
-
All sheaths must be worn. No sheath; no weapon.
-
Free women may defend themselves if being chased or cornered with an appropriate female damage version (25%) dagger, hair pin, etc.
-
Free women may bind and unbind, aid and bandage if they wish to put themselves at risk but they will face the IC consequences of being out during a raid such as capture or trial by her village, etc.

Slaves may defend themselves with slave weapons (19%) if they get chased or cornered but should realize the consequences they face for striking a free
-
Slaves may bind and unbind, aid and bandage.

CAPTURE
-
Capture Time: 1 hour or until agreed roleplay is done.

Capture Time Extended: Must be agreed upon before battle with a max of 3 days limit.

Captives: Captives taken from Skjern can be brought back to another BTB sim, not a private or GE sim where a rescue cannot occur. If no clue has been left in roleplay, then it will automatically be assumed that some sort of clue has been left as to where said captive was taken to give us the option for rescue.

All members on the sim are eligible as captives if in IC mode or mirror yours if women are kept in safe zone.

WEAPONS

No quick melee switching between weapons to beat meter timing. The burden of proof is on you if you use two melee. Moreover, only legal Gorean style weapons are allowed (i.e. no guns), large anime swords, or anything that would not be plausible for a Gorean warrior to carry.

All sheaths must be worn. No sheath; no weapon.

No throwing daggers, spears, etc.
-
No spamming weapons channels, cheat HUDS or any other cheats
-
If you are caught with a cheat weapon, you will be auto-capped and/or banned from the sim.
-
No enhanced blot weapons exceeding 20% damage and 2Xs legal ZCS speed.

COMMON SENSE

No jumping, speed enhancers, or unrealistic/displacing AO's.
-
Use common sense, if it's not covered here, then our mods have the right to rule on it based on the feasibility of the situation.

Raids must emanate from the raid sim raid dock. You cannot get around this rule by entering with a group through the RP dock and provoking a fight.

All rules must be followed. Fair play is expected, errors are always made and for the sake of good roleplay and fun for all we can work through any misunderstandings or mistakes made.
